Bow Wow Haus Auction a Hit
CLEARWATER, FL – May 8, 2004 - For five months, the The BowWow Haus community art project was a showcase for artistically and architecturally designed dog houses. On May 8th these houses were reunited and then auctioned at a Gala event, which provided much needed funds to the Outdoor Arts Foundation and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Pooch Pavilion by Design Styles, Inc.

When Design Styles, Inc. signed up to participate in this project, we had to keep in mind the taste of our newest client. Although our firm designs homes of all architectural styles, Pooch has a flair for the dramatic. Only a one-of-a-kind doghouse would do. We designed our “Pooch Pavilion” by using the basic building materials used in our full-size homes in a very unique way. The unusual curved glass roof is specially tinted to provide Pooch with shelter from the suns rays, while the open sides and the tilted arch in the roof invite welcome breezes. The raised cedar plank floor keeps him cool and dry, while the faux fireplace gives him a place to hide his treasures. This not-so-humble abode comes completely furnished for Pooch to fully enjoy “a dog's life”!
